First American Trust is a federal savings bank and part of the First American family of companies, providing banking, wealth management, and trust solutions. The Operations role supports high-volume wire transfers, ACH processing, and general ledger balancing in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in heavy-volume wire operations and 4–6 years in a banking operations setting, with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in heavy-volume wire operations.
• 4–6 years of experience in a financial institution or banking operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wire transfer queues to move high-dollar funds quickly and accurately per federal regulations.
• Balance and reconcile application/general ledger entries.
• Research and clear Fed adjustments and other out-of-balance conditions.
• Process incoming and outgoing ACH files and returns/exceptions.
• Process un-posted transactions and returned deposited items.
• Support other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.
