Job summary

TransPecos Banks is seeking a Wire-ACH Specialist I to join our downtown San Antonio headquarters. The role focuses on processing wire transfers and ACH activity, supporting EFT operations, and assisting with general ledger and business continuity tasks.

The position requires accuracy, confidentiality, and ability to adapt to processing deadlines. Key duties include daily wire/ACH processing, stop payments, and project support.

Qualifications

• Banking experience with wires, ACH and exception processing.
• Understanding of NACHA rules and banking operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support and complete operational tasks related to banking, ACH, check and wires including daily processing of incoming and outgoing wire transfers, ACH files, and check exceptions.
• Process government matters, ACH stop payments, and Written Statements of Unauthorized ACH Debits per regulations and policies.
• Assist with EFT-related projects and provide reports/analysis of EFT records.
• Carry out day-to-day banking operations including cash handling, vault/teller balancing, with confidentiality.
• Prepare and send business correspondence and manage multiple projects as assigned by Senior Management.
