Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a systems infrastructure engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT environments across distributed sites. You will manage Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and virtualization with VMware, while ensuring security controls and patching are in place.

Collaboration with cybersecurity, networking, and operations teams is essential to deliver reliable services. You will document configurations, participate in architecture reviews, and help drive modernization

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 6+ years of experience engineering and deploying complex enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with enterprise Windows Server environments and infrastructure services.
• Experience with virtualization technologies and secure, compliance-driven federal environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, implement, maintain, and support enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core services.
• Support VMware virtualization, VDI, and backup/recovery activities.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, networking, and operations teams to implement solutions.
• Develop system documentation, diagrams, and SOPs; participate in reviews and capacity planning.
• Support infrastructure modernization, patching, vulnerability remediation, and automation.
