Qualifications

• 3+ years in Windows desktop app development using Windows App SDK, WinUI and C#, XAML.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between managed and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs and building accessible software.
• Strong fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
• Experience leading design decisions, mentoring engineers, and code reviews.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• User-centric mindset for polished, intuitive experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop apps.
• Define best practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase.
• Drive accessibility efforts and ensure UI accessibility for users with disabilities.
• Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and stakeholders on roadmap.
• Own full lifecycle of features from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory issues.
