Job summary

American Management Group, LLC (AMG) is seeking a Senior Microsoft Windows Field Deployment Technician to support VA EHR deployment. You will image, configure, and deploy hardware across VA campuses and offsite training sites, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 5 years of imaging and deployment experience, plus the ability to travel and lift heavy equipment; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of imaging, installing computer equipment, and leading technical teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move IT equipment.
• Reliable personal transportation for site travel.
• Experience with hardware/software support, system imaging, and deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/IT or equivalent plus 5 years’ experience; or 13 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, image, and set up PCs, laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, scanners, and network connections.
• Manage inventory and ensure equipment is available for training sessions.
• Configure Active Directory for training use and verify security updates.
• Travel to VA centers and offsite training locations as needed.
• Provide high-level customer service during deployment and training.
