Job summary

American Management Group, LLC (AMG) seeks a Senior Installation Field Engineer to lead onsite technicians during the VA EHR deployment and training project. This role requires frequent travel and hands-on management of hardware setup, imaging, network configuration, and security compliance at multiple training sites.

You will coordinate equipment setup, ensure current VA images, assign Active Directory training use, and maintain inventory while delivering high customer service throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent; or 18+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 10 total years of IT experience with hardware/software support and deployments.
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time; valid driver’s license and personal transportation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write reports/deliverables.
• Experience with Windows desktop deployments and IT helpdesk Tier 2.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite technicians supporting the VA EHRM deployment and training.
• Set up equipment at training sites and ensure the most current VA image is installed.
• Configure network connectivity in training rooms and manage Wi‑Fi.
• Manage inventory and provide ongoing installation/support at training sites.
• Provide installation and ongoing support with limited supervision.
