Job summary

American Management Group, LLC (AMG) is seeking a Senior Installation Field Engineer to oversee onsite technicians supporting the VA’s EHR deployment and training project. The role combines strong networking, hardware imaging, and customer service skills with travel to training sites.

You will manage workload, verify VA computer images, ensure security updates, and configure Active Directory for training use.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with designing, analyzing, configuring, or troubleshooting IP networks.
• Experience in managing technical teams.
• Experience with Wi-Fi hardware - Configuration, Management, and Issue Resolution.
• Experience with network hardware - Install, Configuration, Management, and Issue Resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, configure, or troubleshoot IP networks across training sites.
• Manage onsite technicians and workload distribution.
• Verify computers have the latest VA image and are ready for security scans and updates.
• Configure network connectivity in training rooms and ensure peripherals are installed at each seat.
• Manage inventory and network connectivity at training sites and provide onsite support.
