Job summary

American Management Group, LLC (AMG) is seeking an Installation Engineer to oversee onsite technicians during the VA EHRM deployment and training project. You will coordinate hardware setup, imaging, AD assignments, and network connectivity at training sites, ensuring devices are ready for scheduled security scans and classroom use.

Travel up to 50% is required; you may drive or fly to multiple sites and work at the VA when not traveling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, configuring or troubleshooting IP networks.
• Experience leading technical teams and working onsite with customers.
• Familiar with network hardware and Wi‑Fi configurations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; report writing expected.
• Willing to travel up to 50% and have personal transportation.
• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite technicians supporting VA EHRM deployment and training.
• Manage equipment setup, imaging, and AD assignments for training sites.
• Configure network connectivity and ensure training seat readiness.
• Support baseband and internet connectivity, and Wi‑Fi management.
• Provide on-site support for installations and issue resolution.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate workload with limited supervision.
