Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience with Windchill customization.
• Deep Windchill Java API knowledge and customization frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow internals.
• Strong Java OO design and performance-engineering skills.
• Experience with JSP, HTML, and Windchill client-side customization.
• Hands-on TAM experience.
• Experience supporting Windchill upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Java customizations within Windchill, including services, listeners, processors, validators, and helpers.
• Extend Windchill data model with custom types, attributes, and relationships using TAM.
• Build custom JSP and HTML extensions, including tables, actions, and wizard pages.
• Develop custom queues and background processes for asynchronous Windchill tasks.
• Lead migrations to modern PTC patterns with backward-compatibility shims.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into Java designs.
• Provide post-go-live support and triage incidents with operations teams.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architecture and runbooks.
