DNV Energy Systems' Renewables and Power Advisory Group seeks a Senior Wind Energy Assessment Analyst to deliver wind resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale projects across the U.S. & Canada.

You’ll work with engineers, meteorologists, and energy professionals to evaluate resources, performance, and risk. Based in a hybrid model with offices nationwide, the role emphasizes technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning while supporting reported outcomes for

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in meteorology or related field.
• 5+ years in renewable energy or consulting.
• Experience in wind resource assessments and energy production.
• Knowledge of wind datasets (SCADA, LiDAR, towers).
• Strong written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Support wind resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret datasets.
• Contribute to pre-construction and due diligence reviews.
• Evaluate project performance, uncertainty, and risk factors.
• Support operational assessments using SCADA data.
• Prepare technical reports and customer deliverables.
• Build relationships with customers and participate in technical discussions.
• Contribute to AI automation and digital tools development.
