Job summary

DNV Energy Systems seeks a Senior Wind Energy Assessment Analyst to join the Wind Energy Assessment team delivering technical consulting for utility-scale wind projects across the U.S. & Canada.

You will evaluate wind resources, production, performance, and risk through the project lifecycle with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists. Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience with wind resource and energy production assessments.
• Familiarity with wind energy assessment methodologies and uncertainty analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support wind resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret meteorological and energy datasets.
• Contribute to pre-construction energy assessments, independent engineer assignments, and due diligence reviews.
• Evaluate project performance, uncertainty, and risk factors.
• Support operational energy assessments using SCADA and production data.
• Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Build trusted client relationships and participate in technical discussions.
• Assist with automation, scripting, and data visualization to improve workflows.
