DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Wind Energy Assessment Analyst to join our Wind Energy Assessment team. You will evaluate wind resources, energy production, project performance, and risk across the project lifecycle for utility-scale wind projects in the U.S.

and Canada. You will work with engineers, atmospheric scientists, meteorologists, and renewable energy professionals to deliver pre-construction and operational assessments, SCADA analytics, and related services with a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Five years of directly relevant professional experience in renewable energy, engineering consulting, data analytics, atmospheric science, or a related field.
• Experience performing wind resource assessments or energy production assessments.
• Familiarity with wind energy assessment methodologies and uncertainty analysis; datasets like SCADA, LiDAR, towers.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support wind resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret meteorological, operational, and energy data.
• Contribute to pre-construction energy assessments, independent engineer assignments, and due diligence reviews.
• Evaluate project performance, uncertainty, and risk factors with project teams.
• Support operational energy assessments using SCADA and weather data; prepare technical reports.
