Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Analytics & Performance Lead to join the Wind Energy Assessment team in the U.S. and Canada.

You will combine wind energy assessment with advanced data analytics, automation, and technical leadership to deliver defensible energy production estimates and optimize project outcomes. You will develop analytical workflows, process large datasets, and mentor analysts while driving digitalization and AI-enabled improvements across wind projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• Seven years of renewable energy, engineering, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or R for data processing.
• Strong English written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience mentoring and leading project teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Analyze wind turbine SCADA and energy yield data.
• Lead wind resource and energy assessments for utility-scale wind projects.
• Develop advanced data analytics, automation, and workflows.
• Maintain databases, templates, and analytical systems.
• Provide technical oversight and peer reviews on projects.
• Communicate findings through technical reports and client deliverables.
