Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Analytics & Performance Lead to join our Wind Energy Assessment team across the U.S. and Canada.

You will develop innovative analytical solutions, automate workflows, and provide data-driven insights to support project decisions throughout the lifecycle. You will lead technical analyses, manage large datasets, and mentor analysts while advancing analytics methodologies and AI integration in wind energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (meteorology, engineering, physics, math, CS, data science, Renewable Energy).
• Seven years of relevant experience in renewable energy, engineering analytics, or related field.
• Understanding of wind turbine subsystems (pitch, yaw, gearboxes, towers).
• Proficient programming with Python, MATLAB, or R for data processing and automation.
• Strong English communication and experience supporting customer-facing consulting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SCADA data to track power curves and energy yield.
• Lead wind resource and energy assessments for utility-scale projects.
• Develop and automate analytical workflows and data-processing solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
