Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Analytics & Performance Lead to join the Wind Energy Assessment team in a hybrid role across the U.S. and Canada. You will develop analytical solutions, automate workflows, and guide project decisions through data-driven insights.

You will lead pre-construction and operational assessments, mentor analysts, and push innovations in data management, AI integration, and visualization to improve asset performance and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field relevant to renewable energy or atmospheric science.
• 7+ years of directly relevant experience in renewable energy, engineering consulting, atmospheric science, or analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, R for data processing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze turbine and wind plant SCADA data to track power curves and identify losses.
• Lead resource and energy assessments for utility-scale wind projects across N. America.
• Analyze meteorological, SCADA, remote sensing, and geospatial data to estimate production and uncertainty.
