Job summary

DNV Energy Systems seeks a Senior Renewable Energy Analytics & Performance Lead to join the Wind Energy Assessment team across the U.S. and Canada.

The role blends wind resource analysis with advanced data analytics, automation, and technical leadership to support utility-scale projects. You will develop analytical workflows, process large datasets, mentor analysts, and deliver technical reports that inform project decisions from pre-construction to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to renewable energy or engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy, engineering consulting, analytics, or related field.
• Strong programming experience for data processing and workflow development.
• Experience leading technical teams and engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze turbine and wind plant SCADA data to track power curves and energy yield.
• Lead wind resource and energy assessments for utility-scale projects.
• Develop analytical workflows and automate data-processing tasks.
• Maintain databases, templates, and scripts to support operations.
• Mentor analysts and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Prepare technical reports and client-facing deliverables.
