Job summary

Werner Enterprises seeks a Delivery Operations Manager to head white glove residential delivery operations and oversee contracted home delivery teams plus internal staff. You will drive transportation, warehousing, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include measuring the fulfillment cycle, enforcing safety standards, and guiding KPI reporting. A strong background in 3PL, P&L, and leadership is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and transportation.
• Experience managing home delivery or 3PL operations.
• Proven leadership to mentor and grow a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of contracted delivery teams and internal staff.
• Align operations with client goals and expectations.
• Monitor fulfillment cycle, including transportation and inspections.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, local regs).
• Direct KPI reporting and performance reviews for reports.
• Develop personal and team development plans.
• Coordinate with senior management on forecasts and actions.
• Manage direct reports and provide coaching and evaluation.
• Oversee delivery units and P&L for the operation.
