Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead a regional logistics team in a non-remote, on-site role based in Monroe, CT, with additional support locations. You will drive region growth, manage expenses and carrier relationships, and coordinate with sales and service teams to meet customer expectations.

The position requires up to 50% travel, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of freight pricing, Werner systems, and carrier networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Logistics preferred.
• 7–10 years of logistics experience; multi-unit field leader 3–5 years.
• 7–10 years third party capacity / White Glove Residential Delivery experience.
• Profit and Loss accountability preferred.
• Strong management or supervisory experience of 7–10 years or more.
• Road Warrior travel up to 50%.

• Participate in carrier/customer visits.
• Assure freight is covered timely per policy.
• Support in pricing process of freight for the region.
