Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a seasoned Workforce Management Techno-Functional Expert to lead end-to-end scheduling and labor forecasting capabilities. You will drive functional strategy, design, and delivery across demand forecasting, staffing plans, and schedule generation, partnering with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering Workforce Management solutions with forecasting, staffing, and scheduling.
• 7+ years' experience working with WFM scheduling constructs (rules, templates, shifts, optimization constraints) and forecasting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with business stakeholders to understand demand drivers, staffing patterns, and scheduling pain points; translate findings into requirements.
• Drive fit-gap analysis across vendor/product options and current-state tools; recommend the functional approach with tradeoffs and rationale.
• Design forecasting workflows and operating model to produce reliable demand and staffing plans.
• Define scheduling design patterns and optimization constraints; ensure designs meet business realities and compliance.
• Establish solution guardrails for accuracy, auditability, and transparency.
• Partner with engineering leads to convert designs into configuration and build plans (config, extensions, reporting, automation).
• Own functional delivery including configuring and customizing vendor applications.
• Drive end-to-end lifecycle for enhancements, defects, and releases with proper documentation.
• Define reporting needs across forecasting accuracy, staffing vs. plan, and scheduling analytics; drive adoption.
• Serve as the functional lead across HR, operations, and technology; drive alignment and decisions.
• Support training strategy and enablement for planners and schedulers.
• Provide strategic direction and mentoring to the product and shared services teams.
