Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. seeks a Senior Welding Engineer to lead robotic welding programs, qualify welding procedures, and ensure code compliance in a fast-paced automation environment. On-site in Pewaukee, WI, Monday–Friday, first shift, with occasional travel for commissioning.

You will mentor Robotic Welding Technicians, review weld paths, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to uphold strict customer and code requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years in welding engineering or welding leadership.
• Deep capability in GMAW/MIG, GTAW/TIG, robotic arc welding, laser welding.
• Proven track record developing WPS/PQR and resolving weld defects.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX.
• Citizenship or Green Card holder residing near Pewaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Mentoring for Robotic Welding Technicians.
• Develop, document, and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and parameters.
• Evaluate fixtures and cell layouts for part access and repeatability.
• Ensure full compliance with AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX.
• Support project estimating regarding weld feasibility, cycle times, and equipment needs.
• Assist with equipment integration, robot commissioning, and process validation.
