Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 5–8+ years of progressive welding engineering experience.
• US work authorization (U.S. Citizen or Green Card) and Pewaukee-area commute.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Robotic Welding Technicians and mentor staff.
• Develop and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and parameters.
• Select welding processes and review fixtures for part access and repeatability.
• Ensure compliance with AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX.
• Assist with project estimating for weld feasibility and cycle times.
• Support equipment integration, robot commissioning, and process validation.
