Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in welding engineering, weld process development, or robotic welding leadership.
• Experience qualifying welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and resolving complex defects.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and ASME IX codes.
• US citizen or green card holder residing near Pewaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical welding activity and mentoring for Robotic Welding Technicians.
• Develop and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications and welding parameters.
• Select welding processes and review fixtures/cell layouts for repeatability.
• Ensure code compliance and investigate nonconformances with corrective actions.
• Provide input on project estimates regarding weld feasibility, cycle times, and equipment needs.
• Support integration, commissioning, and on-site startup activities.
