Job summary

Orion Advisor Solutions is seeking a Business Development Consultant for the RIA-Wealth Solutions unit. This field-based, quota-carrying role focuses on growing assets with independent and hybrid RIAs across the West Territory, coordinating with internal teams to drive adoption of Wealth Solutions and related services.

You will build Territory business plans, engage with RIA owners and executives in person, and manage transitions of NPAs while maintaining a disciplined pipeline and CRM activity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services sales or relationship management.
• Strong understanding of investment and wealth management solutions.
• Proven consultative selling, relationship management and closing skills.
• Licensing: Series 65 required within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Internal Sales Consultant and key personnel to prioritize qualified opportunities and coordinate client engagement.
• Drive adoption of Orion Portfolio Solutions and related wealth products with new independent RIAs.
• Grow and retain existing relationships through asset inflows and broader solution adoption.
• Identify, sign and transition New Producing Advisors (NPAs) within served RIAs.
• Lead transitions of assigned RIAs from current territory coverage and maintain regular in-person meetings across the Territory.
