Orion is seeking a Business Development Consultant for RIA-Wealth Solutions to grow our Wealth Solutions across independent and hybrid RIA firms in the West Territory. This field-based role focuses on inflows, retention, and broader solution adoption, including NPAs, with a defined territory and travel up to 50-60%.

You will collaborate with Internal Sales Consultants, Relationship Managers, and product teams to drive adoption of Orion Portfolio Solutions and related offerings, while meeting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services sales, business development, or relationship management.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding an individual sales quota or production goal.
• Strong understanding of investment and wealth management solutions.
• Proven consultative selling, relationship management, and closing skills.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Internal Sales Consultant and team to prioritize qualified opportunities.
• Drive adoption of Orion Portfolio Solutions and related Wealth Solutions with new independent RIAs.
• Grow and retain existing relationships through asset inflows and broader solution adoption.
• Identify and transition New Producing Advisors (NPAs) within served RIAs.
• Lead transition of assigned RIAs and coordinate across teams to ensure continuity.
• Build relationships with RIAs through regular in-person meetings across the Territory.
• Lead opportunities from discovery to close and transition to implementation.
• Maintain territory plans, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM activity.
