Job summary

Orion is seeking a results-driven Business Development Consultant for RIA-Wealth Solutions to grow assets and deepen client relationships across a major US territory. You will work in person with independent and hybrid RIAs, coordinating with a dedicated Internal Sales Consultant to deliver a multi-solution approach that drives inflows and retention.

You will lead the transition of RIAs, expand adoption of Orion Portfolio Solutions and related Wealth offerings, and partner across teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services sales, business development, or relationship management.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding an individual sales quota.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Internal Sales Consultant to prioritize qualified opportunities and coordinate client engagement.
• Drive adoption of Orion Portfolio Solutions, Custom Indexing, Outsourced Trading, Fixed Income, and OCIO with new independent RIAs.
• Grow and retain existing relationships through asset flows and broader solution adoption.
• Identify, sign and transition New Producing Advisors (NPAs) within the RIAs served.
• Lead the transition of assigned RIAs from current territory coverage with cross-territory coordination.
• Build relationships with independent RIAs through regular in-person meetings.
• Lead opportunities from discovery to close and transition to implementation.
• Coordinate across Relationship Management, Investments, Trading, Operations, Service, and Marketing.
• Maintain territory plans, pipeline management, forecasting and CRM activity.
