Job summary

Orion Wealth Solutions seeks a field-based Business Development Consultant to grow independent and hybrid RIA relationships across a defined territory. You will drive inflows, retention, and solution adoption, coordinating with internal teams to turn Orion's platform into asset growth.

You will travel 50-60% across the territory, engaging with RIA owners and executives, and you must hold a Series 65 within 90 days of start. This is a quota-driven role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services sales or business development.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding a sales quota.
• Strong understanding of investment and wealth management solutions.
• Proven consultative selling and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Internal Sales Consultant and teams to prioritize qualified opportunities and coordinate client engagement.
• Drive adoption of Wealth Solutions and related offerings with new independent and hybrid RIAs.
• Grow and retain relationships through asset inflows and broader solution adoption.
• Identify and transition New Producing Advisors (NPAs) within served RIAs.
• Lead transitions of assigned RIA firms with continuity across teams.
• Build relationships with RIAs through regular in-person meetings across the Territory.
• Lead opportunities from discovery to close and transition to implementation.
• Coordinate across Relationship Management, Investments, Trading, Operations, Service, and Marketing.
• Maintain territory plans, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM activity.
