Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of Workers' Compensation underwriting experience.
• Municipalities/public entities or governmental organizations experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts Workers' Compensation regulations and practices.
• Experience evaluating loss history, payroll exposures, and complex WC risks.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal Workers' Compensation business with profitability goals.
• Evaluate municipal, public entity, and commercial WC risks in Massachusetts.
• Review applications, loss runs, payroll information, and experience modification factors.
• Analyze exposures and determine pricing, terms, conditions, and coverage within authority.
• Manage an assigned WC book and monitor profitability, trends, and exposure changes.
