Job summary

Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc. (CCMSI) is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant for a Reading, MA hybrid role. The position handles a complex portfolio of WC claims with a focus on thorough investigation, strategic claim management, and timely resolutions.

Expect a clear career path and your expertise guiding client outcomes. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of WC claims experience, proficiency with MS Office, and CT/RI adjuster licenses.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Adjuster’s license: CT, RI.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust WC claims per established standards and laws.
• Establish reserves and provide reserve recommendations within authority.
• Review medical, legal, and other invoices; negotiate disputed bills for resolution.
• Authorize and make payments of claims within procedures and authority.
• Negotiate settlements in compliance with standards and client instructions.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor subrogation where applicable.
