Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Water/Wastewater General Superintendent in Tacoma, WA. Lead field operations for treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure, overseeing self-perform crews and subcontractors to deliver complex municipal projects on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidate has deep experience in water/wastewater construction, strong leadership and safety commitments, and a track record of delivering $25M+ projects across the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 5+ years managing water/wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Experience overseeing projects valued at $25M+.
• Ability to read plans, specifications and contract documents.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership for water and wastewater facility projects.
• Manage superintendents, foremen, subcontractors and craft personnel.
• Develop and execute project schedules, work plans and site logistics.
• Ensure safety, quality and budget compliance on projects.
• Coordinate with project management, clients, engineers and inspectors.
• Lead workforce development and mentoring efforts.
