Job summary

Ardurra (WK Dickson) in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead multidiscipline municipal and institutional projects.

The role focuses on planning, design, and management of water/wastewater systems, with emphasis on team leadership, client interaction, and regulatory compliance. BS in Civil/Environmental Eng, 8+ years of relevant experience, PE a plus; ability to coordinate with sub-consultants and multiple departments is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive municipal water/wastewater/public works experience preferred.
• PE license a plus.
• Experience managing production and treatment projects or water distribution/wastewater modeling preferred.
• Advanced understanding of water treatment/distribution and wastewater collection/treatment principles and state regulations preferred.
• Self-motivated with ability to lead or assist a project team to completion of multiple projects.
• Active participant in the company culture.
• Ability to guide and coordinate with professionals across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water/wastewater systems.
• Respond to qualifications requests and assist with teaming opportunities.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants for multi-discipline projects.
• Create, calibrate, modify, and perform hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems and communicate results.
