Ardurra is seeking a Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater to join our staff in Charlotte, NC. This role will plan, design, and potentially manage multidiscipline projects for municipal water and wastewater systems.

The ideal candidate will contribute technical design and hydraulic modeling expertise and may lead a team of engineers, EITs, and CAD technicians. You should have a Bachelor's in Engineering and 4+ years' related experience; a PE license is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• 4+ years of related water/wastewater design, permitting and construction experience.
• P.E. license is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, contractors and regulators.
• Strong writing skills for reports and studies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction.
• Familiarity with local permitting processes encouraged.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic modeling software such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed designs, plans, specs, and cost estimates for treatment plants and pipelines.
• Lead multi-discipline coordination with departments and sub-consultants.
• Create and calibrate hydraulic models and interpret results.
• Assist PMs in allocating junior staff and managing workloads.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and cost estimates.
• Engage with clients for meetings and business development.
