Job summary

GHD in Bowie, MD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive the development and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the DC metro area. You’ll lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary client contact.

Beyond project delivery, you’ll contribute to business development, marketing strategies and client engagement, shaping win strategies and pricing for new work while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering with water/wastewater focus.
• Professional Engineering license (Maryland or Virginia preferred).
• 10+ years of planning, design, and construction experience in water/wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water and wastewater projects on time and within budget.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risk, and client communications.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with regional leaders.
• Support business development, proposals, and client engagement.
