Job summary

GHD is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role will be based in the Columbia area with hybrid work options as described. You will manage project delivery, budgets, and schedules while serving as the primary client contact.

You will also participate in business development, marketing strategies, and client engagement, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to win strategies and pricing for new work across the Southeast Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater planning, design and construction.
• Strong written and oral communication, leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of major water and wastewater projects, ensuring design, budget and schedule targets are met.
• Lead project teams and act as primary client contact throughout project execution.
• Drive business development, bid strategy, proposals and client engagement for new work.
• Mentor team members, recruit talent and collaborate with leaders across the Southeast Region.
• Support win strategies and pricing for new opportunities.
