Job summary

Bartlett & West, Inc. is seeking a senior professional to develop and lead a profitable water and wastewater engineering business in Texas, with focus on the San Antonio area and nearby markets.

The role emphasizes business development, project leadership and staff management to expand client relationships and project opportunities. The candidate will partner with leadership to position the firm for growth, oversee projects, and mentor staff while engaging with clients, agencies and funding

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in design, staff management and business development.
Proven ability to develop business resulting in profitable sales and revenue.

Responsibilities

Develop water/wastewater business plan for the office and generate project opportunities.
Manage projects including scope, schedule, fees, QA/QC, revenue, invoicing and close-out.
Track, develop and maintain client records in CRM and support relationship building.
Identify, recruit, hire and retain top talent; manage local staff in engineering deliverables.
Mentor and coach project managers and senior management within the company.
