Job summary

Bartlett & West in Texas is seeking a seasoned professional to build a profitable water and wastewater engineering business in the San Antonio area, focusing on business development, project development and staff leadership.

You will manage projects, develop and maintain client relationships, and lead recruitment and mentoring while coordinating with Delivery Leaders and marketing to expand market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 8+ years of design, staff management and business development experience.
• Ability to develop business resulting in profitable sales and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Positioning and Client Development: develops water/wastewater business plans, generates opportunities, builds relationships.
• Project oversight and management: manages projects' scope, schedule, fees, QA/QC, revenue, invoicing and close-out.
• Client Maintenance: tracks and maintains client records in CRM, supports relationship building with clients.
• Staff recruitment and management: identifies, recruits, hires and retains top talent, manages local staff.
• Mentoring/Coaching: develops relationships with project managers and senior management.
