Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects, ensuring quality, schedule and budget. You will mentor teams, develop project plans, and build client relationships to grow opportunities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with disciplines and subconsultants, tracking progress, preparing reports, and guiding marketing efforts through proposals and interviews. Office-based with occasional field work, outdoor conditions included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and presentation abilities.
• CAPM or PMP certification.
• Experience with local city/county/state clients.
• Professional license or applicable certification.
• Experience with multiple project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3).
• Experience leading multidiscipline project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead water/wastewater projects ensuring scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with disciplines and subconsultants on project scope and fee.
• Develop project plans and quality management plans.
• Create and maintain project schedules.
• Manage subconsultants and vendors.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and manage change orders.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Support marketing, proposals, interviews, and win strategies.
• Mentor and coach project team members.
