Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects in client-focused environments. You will plan, scope, schedule, budget, and coordinate multi-discipline teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include risk management, QA, progress reporting, and representing the project with clients and stakeholders, while mentoring staff and supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of project management experience in civil engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common PM tools.
• Experience working with local county/state clients.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• ENV SP certification; CAPM or PMP preferred.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3.

Responsibilities

• Manages project objectives including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborates with disciplines and subconsultants to define scope and fee.
• Develops project plans, schedules, and quality plans.
• Creates and maintains project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinates and mentors multidiscipline teams and subconsultants.
• Communicates status, updates, and issues to stakeholders.
• Oversees risk management, change orders, and invoicing reviews.
• Leads in project status meetings and client-pro relation building.
• Supports marketing: proposals, interviews, and go/no-go decisions.
