Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Project Water Wastewater Engineer to join the Resilience Water Team in Virginia or Maryland. You will lead design and construction efforts for water systems, coordinate with clients, and grow technical capabilities while managing project scopes and budgets.

The role requires a PE license, 6 years of municipal water experience, and strong communication skills. Travel to project sites and client meetings is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in engineering and consulting, municipal water market.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater distribution systems, pump stations, and treatment plants.
• Develop design and construction documents, such as reports and specifications.
• Support construction administration and ensure processes meet guidelines.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and coordinate to achieve project goals.
• May serve as Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, managing scopes and budgets.
