Arcadis is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer in Virginia Beach to provide technical leadership across planning, design, and construction stages. You will oversee design calculations, reports, and drawings while coordinating with clients and internal teams to meet project milestones and budgets.

The role requires at least five years of relevant experience and a civil/environmental/mechanical engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience leading design or consulting projects in water/wastewater.

Responsabilités

• Lead water/wastewater projects from planning through construction.
• Develop design calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, manage project delivery, and monitor budgets and timelines.
• Provide construction administration support, RFIs, shop drawings, and permit closeouts.
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff and ensure quality and safety standards.
