Job summary

Arcadis in Washington, DC area seeks a Civil/Environmental Engineer to work on water/wastewater/stormwater projects within the Water South Mid Atlantic team. You will evaluate, plan, and design projects, support project management, and contribute to sustainability and resilience initiatives for utilities, municipalities, and cities.

The role involves fieldwork, data analysis, performance evaluations of water facilities, use of BIM, Power BI, SharePoint, and SQL-based dashboards, and

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or closely related field)
• Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit preferred
• EIT certification preferred
• Experience in water/wastewater/stormwater projects or municipal/utility settings welcome

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and design water/wastewater/stormwater projects including pipelines and pumping facilities
• Support project management activities and client interactions
• Contribute to sustainability and resilience projects via data analysis and vulnerability assessments
• Perform field tasks such as site visits, water sampling, and plant operation optimization
• Assist with asset management studies using data analytics and condition assessments
• Prepare reports, presentations, and client meeting materials
• Learn and utilize BIM, Power BI, SharePoint, and other digital tools
