Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Manager in our Water Business Group to lead large water/wastewater programs for Federal and municipal clients in Colorado. This role emphasizes high-impact leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration within an industry-leading, 100% employee-owned firm.

In a dynamic environment, you will manage project controls, budgets, and stakeholder engagement while advancing HDR's mission to deliver sustainable water solutions and protect public health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10 years related experience.
• 5 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of large water/wastewater projects for Federal and municipal clients.
• Lead project pursuit activities for Federal clients, including SF330 responses.
• Manage and lead project delivery for Federal clients within the Department of Interior.
• Navigate Federal/state regulatory environments and ensure compliance.
• Oversee project execution, balancing scope, schedule, and budget.
