HDR’s Water Business Group is expanding, seeking accomplished Senior Project Managers to lead high‑profile engineering programs. This is a chance to join a 100% employee‑owned firm and shape the future of water infrastructure across the U.S.

You will oversee planning, design, and delivery of large multi-disciplinary projects, mentor teams, and drive business development while ensuring quality and compliance. HDR offers robust benefits and a collaborative, ownership‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license (PE/P.Eng).
• MS Office and MS Project experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
• An attitude and commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of large, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Oversee project execution within scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop and expand key client relationships and participate in proposals.
• Facilitate meetings with project teams, clients, stakeholders.
• Navigate complex regulatory environments and liaise with permitting agencies.
• Guide project documentation, analyses and reports.
• Manage project financials incl. budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with project controllers and finance teams.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to staff.
• Support strategic planning and operational improvements.
