Responsabilités

• Operate valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and vehicles.
• Perform routine testing, monitoring, and maintenance of production wells and water/wastewater facilities.
• Record daily flow, chemical usage, and related data; document treatment processes and maintenance activities.
• Respond to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and electrical systems.
• Provide customer service functions as needed.
• Ensure the security and cleanliness of treatment plant facilities and grounds.
• Communicate with clients regarding routine technical aspects of operations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within the treatment facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour on-call.

Inframark is currently seeking a skilled Operator II Water/Wastewater Plant. This role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment at small to medium-sized water/wastewater facilities.

C Water and C Wastewater license minimum required

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a variety of equipment and machinery, including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and vehicles.
• Conduct routine testing, monitoring, and maintenance of production wells and water/wastewater facilities.
• Perform and document treatment processes and maintenance activities to ensure proper operations. Record daily flow, chemical usage, and related data.
• Respond to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair treatment equipment, pumps, motors, sensing devices, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Provide customer service functions as needed.
• Ensure the security and cleanliness of treatment plant facilities and grounds.
• Communicate with clients and customers regarding routine technical aspects of operations as needed.
• Coordinate maintenance activities within the treatment facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on-call.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of water/wastewater experience.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred). Water/Wastewater Operator’s License is specific to state and site-specific requirements. Other licenses may vary by site and assignment.

Technical: Ability to follow manual and operating instructions. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications. Basic knowledge of water/wastewater operations and working knowledge of electrical components.
