Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager in the United States (Washington DC area), focusing on planning and engineering design for water and wastewater infrastructure. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, mentor staff, and drive business development with clients and stakeholders.

The role involves coordinating with engineers across disciplines, managing scope, budget, and schedule, and delivering complex design projects while upholding Stantec's values and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of related experience in project management, preferably for water/wastewater projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Support business development, proposals, and client meetings to grow project wins.
• Develop project scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
• Coordinate with multiple business lines to pursue opportunities.
• Quality reviews and independent technical reviews.
