Job summary

CDM Smith's Concord office has an immediate need for a mid-level engineer with a drinking water or wastewater design background to support senior engineers on a variety of water and wastewater projects in our Water Services Group locally and across the West Coast.

You'll learn daily from our highly-skilled technical staff, participate in our mentoring program, and drive your professional development through our Leadership Academy and extensive trainings available within the CDM Smith University.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Create water and wastewater treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, water reuse facilities, pipelines and pump stations designs and reports.
• Perform engineering work with emphasis on water/wastewater treatment, conveyance and civil design.
• Review drafts for compliance with regulations and sign off on designs.
• Lead engineering tasks, perform design calculations, prepare reports with oversight.
