Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Technical Leader to support and lead water-related projects across the West Coast. The role involves independent work and guiding multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists on large-diameter water, water reuse, and wastewater conveyance projects within our Water Services Group.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering; PE license.
7 years of related experience. Travel may be required.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and approve basic to highly complex engineering designs for water conveyance, storage, and treatment systems.
Ensure project designs comply with state and local regulations.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
Collaborate with sales and client service teams to prepare proposals and respond to RFPs.
Represent CDM Smith at conferences and foster client relationships.
