Baxter & Woodman Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Utility Engineer to lead hydraulic modeling, master planning, and design for municipal water projects in Illinois. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, and resources, while ensuring compliance with standards and pursuing business development across the Chicagoland area.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in potable water system analysis and design.
Expertise in potable water hydraulic modeling and master planning.
Experience with ArcGIS, WaterGEMS and InfoWater Pro.
Willingness to travel within Illinois service areas.

Responsibilities

Develop hydraulic models of water distribution systems.
Lead master planning and design efforts for water facilities.
Oversee budgets, schedules and resources for projects.
Coordinate with internal teams and municipal clients.
Prepare plans, specifications and competitive proposals.
Support quality control of water models and reports.
Lead project engineers and staff on project delivery.
