Job summary

Inframark in Florida is seeking a Project Manager / Chief Water Operator to lead a municipal drinking water utility. You will oversee operations, maintenance, compliance, and performance, driving improvements and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida Class A Water Operator License (or equivalent) and have Chief Operator-level leadership experience, with relocation assistance available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in water treatment operations or utility management.
• Chief Operator experience or equivalent leadership required.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, regulatory compliance, and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Direct all water treatment plant operations, maintenance, and asset management.
• Lead regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Develop SOPs, safety programs, and best practices.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Engage with municipal leaders and regulators; present updates.
