Qualifications

• Three (3) years of building or mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Valid Driver License and compliance with City of Houston driving policy (AP 2-2).
• Preference for experience with centrifugal pump maintenance, motors, air compressors, piping, blowers, valves and hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled mechanical duties in maintenance of water systems and facilities.
• Conducts inspections, preventive maintenance, lubrications and repairs on rotating equipment, piping, pumps, motors, blowers, compressors, valves, lines, water systems and facilities.
• Collects and catalogs data on installed equipment and keeps service call and repair records.
• May be required to drive a City vehicle and maintain vehicle maintenance/mileage records.
