TexasWater Utilities is hiring a Field Technician I to perform routine checks and operate water and wastewater systems in Texas. You will ensure compliance with federal, state and local rules, assist in operations, maintenance and customer service, and pursue required certifications within the designated timeframe.
The role involves routine testing, chemical adjustments, and supporting repairs and new installations across facilities.

The Field Technician I performs routine checks of water and/or wastewater treatment systems; responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules/regulations. Assist in all areas of operations, maintenance, and customer service as needed for all facility systems within the company. Certifications required for the job must be obtained within the specified period of time.

This position will be willing and able to perform the following duties and others as assigned:
H.S. Diploma or GED in General
TX - TCEQ Water Operator Class D
TX - TCEQ Wastewater D
Driver's License
Field-Based Role
1 year of directly related experience in water and/or wastewater system operations, maintenance, customer service, and prefer experience operating back-hoe and/or track-hoe equipment.
